RRPS Safety And Security Goals
Our Mission, Vision and Values

The safety and security of every student and staff member within the Rio Rancho Public Schools is our highest priority in the daily operations of our district. To that end, every school develops a School Level Safety Plan that establishes goals and benchmarks for security. These can include safety procedures that include bus, playground, cafeteria, discipline, community involvement, classroom, evacuation drills, and mediation arenas.
Student excellence is our vision. We seek to be a catalyst for positive change in safety and security issues. This will be accomplished through persistent, customized, and
cost effective measures.
Please take a moment to read our Mission, Vision and What We Value document(pdf).
We dedicate ourselves to being a part of the school community through improved communication,
mutual setting of priorities and shared
commitment to positive youth development. We will strive to solve problems effectively and efficiently through the Baldridge process.
