9-8-11: Attention students: if you are interested in the Digital and Photographic Arts Club, we will hold our first general meeting today in Fine Arts room 103 at 2:35. Be there if you are a former or current photo or graphic arts student who would like to use the computer lab, darkroom and/or digital and photo equipment, or have an interest in working on and sharing your photographic and digital artwork with other students. See Ms. Lea in FA 103 if you have any questions. The club will meet every Thursday after school.

9-8-11: The “Rams will host the Artesia “Bulldogs” (#1 ranked in Class 4A) and Durango, CO HS “Demons” on Saturday September 10th at RRHS! This is the home opener for the 4th ranked “Rams”!! Come support the “Rams” as they battle two top teams in the RAC!! Match times are:

9-7-13: Key Club, a service organization, is recruiting members to join! The first meeting of the year will be Tuesday, September 13 in Mrs. Kohli’s room (HUM 105) during A Lunch and Ms. Chavez’s room (B & E 110) during B Lunch. Please come and be involved with service projects at school and in the community, socials, and fundraisers. See you then!
READ EVERY MONDAY & TUESDAY: Have you ever wanted to learn to play tennis? We have the perfect opportunity for you to try it (no prior experience required) Every Thursday after school we will have a beginner tennis clinic at the tennis courts and all students are invited. The varsity coaches will be be there to teach you the basics of tennis and more! High school tennis is a spring sport so you have lots of time to learn and improve your game and be ready to join the RRHS tennis team. Tennis is a ‘No-cut sport so you will be on either JV or Varsity. Come on out meet new people and have fun

Attention guys! Come and join the powder puff dance team, the “RhythAMen” as they begin to practice for this year’s Homecoming festivities. We will start practice on Tuesday, September 6th at 6:30 sharp in the main gym, and will practice every Tuesday and Thursday morning until our performance! 8-11: In the past week it has come to my attention that several of our students that drive and park In the student parking areas have had their vehicles broken into. Many of these vehicles were left unlocked or unsecured with windows rolled down, doors unlocked and rear window hatches open. In order to ensure the safety of your vehicle and personal belongings. Please secure and properly lock you vehicle. If you have any items that you place value on keep them out of sight.
Again, your cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Campus parking is a privilege and all students are reminded that this privilege may be revoked if you fail to operate your vehicle on campus in accordance with state laws, school rules, and policies and procedures.

Effective immediately all student vehicles must be registered & insured for authorized parking on campus & must display a current, valid parking permit. Student vehicles must be parked in their assigned parking area. Non-registered vehicles or vehicles parked in the parking areas not designated for student parking are subject to BOOT IMMOBILIZATION, TICKETING & OR TOWING AT OWNER’S EXPENSE
Campus parking is a privilege and all students are reminded that this privilege may be revoked if you fail to operate your vehicle on campus in accordance with state laws, school rules and policies and procedures.
NO EXCEPTIONS Absolutely no student parking is permitted in the staff parking lot ,Horseshoe or church/seminary across the street from the campus (either curbside, mesa or parking lot). Any vehicle parked in an unauthorized area will be boot immobilized.

Register for College Success Experience-a dual-credit CNM course that is being offered at Rio Rancho HS Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30-4:00 in SciMatics 108.
· You will get high school and college credit for this free course, and will meet your graduation requirement with ease.
· Students must enroll with CNM online and take the Accuplacer.
· Then register for College Success - 74318 - CSE 1101 - section 901.
· Class begins Aug. 29th so this is the week to register!
