Welcome to the Rams Wrestling Official Web Page

The Rio Rancho High School Wrestling Team was established in 1997 and since then they have accumulated 14 Team Titles, 2 of which were results from the Dual State Championships.  The Rams Wrestling program consists of a Junior Wrestling Club (ages 6 - 14), A Middle School Team (Lincoln and Eagle Ridge Middle School), and at the high school level, the C-Team, JV, and Varsity.  Throughout our history of wrestling, the RAMS Wrestling Program has maintained a high level of competitiveness throughout the state and in the national limelight, we have accomplished this consistently because of the wrestlers and the coaches we have in our wrestling room.  I welcome any Student Athlete and their family into our room that are willing to commit themselves to our program and be a part of a team. As we compete and challenge each other with that attitude, our wrestlers reach great success.

For New Parents:

Welcome to the school year and wrestling season at Rio Rancho High School. For any incoming freshman we have a Wrestling Class (Sports Fit) first period. The reason for this is one, that we are taking advantage of our wrestler’s full potential in the season and offseason practices. Secondly, most of our wrestlers are football players and participate in a fall sport, this allows for an easier transfer of classes at semester. If you have not signed up for the class, please see your counselor.

Register for the TEAM APP:

We have a page on our TEAM APP which highlights all important events throughout the school year and into the offseason. We utilize this tool as our number one way to communicate to you the parents and also to the wrestlers. We will post our schedule there and calendar  click on the link below to see how to sign up:
