The RRHS JROTC team took 1st place at the NMAA State Championships in Albuquerque! All cadets performed expertly, but we couldn't go without recognizing these outstanding competitors! Cadet Sergeant Joseph Bowman is the State Champion in Marksmanship (Sporter) and Cadet Lance Corporal Avery Fluck placed second, Cadet Sergeant Violet Francisco placed third in the female 400m, Cadet Fabian Perez placed second in the Sprint/Drag/Carry, and Cadet Captain Jasmyn Baca placed third in the power throw.
The Female Color Guard was also crowned top Color Guard in the State with a perfect score from all three judges. Members included Cadet Gunnery Sergeant Delila Villareal (Commander), Cadet Captain Jasmyn Baca, Cadet First Lieutenant Una Tholson, and Cadet Staff Sergeant Thalia Najera.
